This course provides 6 credit hours of Michigan real estate continuing education, including 2 hours of required "legal" continuing education and 4 "elective" hours. Clients may have questions regarding septic systems and wells serving certain homes, which is why this course covers topics such as how a well and septic system work, types, inspection and evaluation of these systems, and more. Information regarding use, maintenance, and repairs is extremely important when deciding whether to purchase a house that depends on a well and/or septic system. This course also includes a legal update involving the analysis of recent Michigan cases, new and amended laws involving real estate, and interesting updates involving the Fair Housing Act.
